"Seeing Differently" Exhibition

A Photo Exhibition of Five Veterans at Gettysburg

Visitors to the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center have an opportunity to view the “Seeing Differently” exhibition from Thursday, Nov. 7 through Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019.

Presented by the Josephine Herrick Project, "Seeing Differently" draws from the images of five veterans who visited Gettysburg for a photography workshop in September, 2019. In Gettysburg, the veterans worked with professional photographers to develop their skills and use cameras to explore a place that was both familiar and personal to each. "Seeing Differently" shows how these veterans use photography to frame their own narrative, communicate it with others and often change one's perspective.

The exhibit is presented at no charge to visitors in the Museum & Visitor Center.
