Jonina Turzi is a doctor of physical therapy and the owner of West End Yoga Studio, an integrative wellness and movement center in downtown Lancaster. Turzi provides holistic private-pay physical therapy services to individuals in highly personalized and individualized sessions through her practice, Jonina Yoga Therapy, LLC. Physical therapy sessions are usually an hour long, and the focus is on posture, dynamic body mechanics, the interdependence of craniosacral, organic and connective tissue mobility, core strength and neuromuscular coordination.

Turzi is certified in a particular form of osteopathic and neurologic-based manual therapy called Certified Functional Manual Therapy through the Institute of Physical Art. She has extensively studied craniosacral and Somato-Emotional Release therapies through the Upledger Institute and Visceral Manipulation through the Barral Institute. She is also a registered yoga teacher and offers 200-hour yoga teacher trainings as well as continuing education courses for yoga teachers and serious students through Yoga Sanctuary School, a Yoga-Alliance accredited education provider.

Services offered:

Physical therapy, functional manual therapy (which includes soft and hard tissue mobilization), neuromuscular re-education, motor system re-patterning, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, somato-emotional release techniques, basic ergonomic and worksite evaluation and consultation, as well as private, small and large group yoga instruction.

Areas of Speciality:

Effectively treating all types of bodily pain and dysfunction.
