Fakier, formerly an engineer, moved to the area to be closer to nature, to food that is fresh and organic and to live a life more connected with the earth and with others. Fakier’s wife, Chef Bushra Boutaleb, has also opened a stand at Lancaster Marketplace, Flavors of Morocco, blending foods from Morocco and India made with local ingredients along with imported Moroccan spices.
